First week of school

I KNOW I KNOW IT'S BEEN FIVE DAYS. First, nothing really happened. Then I was tired from school. THEN the internet went out again. Soooooo here I am now. Since we last talked, I have gone on the Plymouth Eye, started school, and found the American food section of the BRAND NEW TESCO THAT IS IN MY BUILDING. The Plymouth eye was cool. For some reason I got on free. I have no idea why, they just handed me a ticket and told me to get in line. I was in a little pod thing with two other girls. I was hoping to get one by myself, but that didn't happen. It was a pretty sunny day, so I figured it was a good time to go. Then on Monday, I started school. It was like starting school anywhere else. French is going to be good. My professor is actually French and he has a stuffed platypus named Darwin that you toss from person to person to give answers. There are only like 13 or 14 of us, so I think that is going to be my favorite class. My second class on Monday was in an auditorium that was almost underground. There are 279 students enrolled in the class and we were all trying to squish in that little auditorium. It was so hot and stuffy and muggy in there that I thought I was going to die. Let's just say, you learn how many people don't wear deodorant when you are in that kind of situation... Tuesday I didn't have to start until 2, and the class I had first was pretty terrible. I am going to drop that one because the professor is going to be gone after the first two weeks so he decided that he was going to squish 11 weeks worth of lectures and tutorials into the first two weeks of class. The lectures would be on all different days, at different times, sometimes twice a day, in various locations all over campus. He expected us to have a business plan done and perfect in those two weeks. I can't do that. I am already unbelievably overwhelmed with everything. I don't need that. The second class was canceled. But I had no idea until someone that was waiting for the class got a text telling her that it was canceled. So I stayed at school for almost 2 extra hours. Then I came home and the internet was down. For as much as we pay for this place, the internet really sucks. Tomorrow they are going to give us wifi. But we only get that wifi for a couple weeks. I don't understand why we can't just have wifi all the time... It really makes no sense to me. I don't have school Wednesdays or Fridays, so I'm really diggin my schedule. Last night one of my flatmates told me that the new Tesco that was put in our building has an American section. So when I woke up (at 11) this morning, first thing I did was go find the Lucky Charms. I paid £4 for one of the small boxes of Lucky Charms. But it was worth it. It will be cheaper to have people send them to me though. I know there is a box coming across the pond as we speak. :) I also bought a bunch of Hershey's bars, Milk Duds, Nerds, Butterfingers, and Flipz. YES. Last night I took myself out to dinner and got the first hot, full meal I have had since my dad and sister left. I was basically the only one in the restaurant, so that was really really awkward. But I didn't care. I was so hungry. Right now I am watching Pitch Perfect, eating my new junk food, and playing games on my iPad. I will probably be doing this for the rest of the day. I hope you guys are good. I miss you all SO MUCH. I LOVE YOU.
