I went on an adventure...

I went on an adventure today. My dad called me and told me I should go find the Mayflower Steps. I told him no, that I just wanted to lay in bed. But when I hung up, I decided why not? It was a sunny day so I got up, got dressed, and walked up to the Hoe. I walked down past the lighthouse and over to the Barbican where I found the Mayflower Steps (which funny enough aren't steps). I hung around there for awhile and then made my way back to the Hoe hoping to make it in time to catch a ride on the Plymouth Eye. Sadly I was too late (which is ridiculous because there was several hours of sun left). So the next sunny day that we have (which is supposed to be tomorrow) I am going to go ride the eye and probably go to the aquarium. Did you guys know that we have the best aquarium in the country right here in Plymouth? So I think that will be pretty awesome. I am getting used to doing things alone. I might try to go find a movie theater and go to a movie. I know. You're thinking "Why are you doing these things alone? Why won't you go out with your flatmates? Go make friends!" And if you say this to me in person, I will probably slap you. Do you know what it feels like to be physically unable to speak because there are too many people in the room? Do you know what it's like to be so uncomfortable that you would rather not eat than go into a kitchen with at least 8 other people? (And it's even worse when they're all good friends). If you know what it's like, then I feel your pain and I am sorry. It's a terrible thing and I wish I could change it. But I literally can't deal with it. Like right now, all I want to do is go grab my ice cream out of the freezer. But I can hear people in there cooking and it makes me so nervous. Mainly because half the time when I walk into the kitchen there is another new person that doesn't actually live here just watching me like I'm the weird one (well, maybe I am. But I don't want to think about that. I was already laughed at on the way to campus yesterday for a reason that I will probably never know). Anyway. That was a very long tangent. Here are the pictures from my little adventure.
