London.

Good evening friends, family, boyfriend, stranger, whoever you might be. I'm going to tell you about our time in one of my absolute favorite places: London, England. Let's begin, shall we?
We hopped on a train from Paris and headed back to the wondrous United Kingdom. I actually stayed awake for the Chunnel, although it wasn't anything special, it was just dark. So we arrived in London, hopped on the tube (I love the tube. I apparently love the smell of grease and oil because down there smells fantastic to me), and headed to our hotel in Earls Court. Now, my dad found this hotel on Expedia. It gave him a deal where you get a 4 star hotel if you just book it right then, without looking at it. Expedia has never let us down, so why not? WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT DO THIS. This was in no way a four star hotel. It was terrible. Wifi was expensive. There was literally a sign above the toilet that said "Dear Guest, Please  please, Do NOT throws toilet paper toilet paper in the TOILET. Hotel Managements" and the 'throws' and 'managements' are not typos. At least not my typos. My sheet had a very big, gross stain on it. Kenna's bed didn't have a real pillow, just one of those dirty things that hotels call bedspreads folded up, and her towel had holes and stains. The shower was tiny. Like, to get your hair rinsed, or just wet, your nose was like less than three inches away from the glass. Anyway, so we put our stuff in the crappy hotel and went out. Honestly, I can barely remember what happened the rest of the night. BUT we did go to this cool restaurant (Steak & Co. I think it was called) that if you ordered a steak, it comes out really rare on a very hot stone. You then cut it up and cook it how you like it with a flavored butter and some seasonings. Then you dip it into whatever sauce you ordered. It was delicious. After that I think we turned in. The next day, my dad and I went looking for the train station we needed to go to to get to Plymouth later in the week. Then we went back, grabbed Ken, and then I think that is when we went and toured the State Rooms in Buckingham Palace. IT WAS ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS EVER. That palace has almost 800 rooms and almost 80 bathrooms. WHAT. But anyway, we walked through there and it took a couple hours. We ate in the Queen's garden cafe (or something along those lines). Her garden is THIRTY-NINE ACRES (I wonder what Grandma and Shirley could do with that... :)). I can't remember what we did after that. But I know we went to dinner at one of my favorite places in London: The Shakespeare. Why is it one of my favorites? Because it has THE BEST LASAGNA EVER. I can't even begin to describe how good it is. There is so much cheese. Oh my dear god it is delicious. I ordered a beer with my meal, because I could, but that wasn't delicious, it was actually pretty gross. I think that is how we ended the night, but I honestly couldn't tell ya. Then next day, I was on a mission to find Derek some Chelsea FC stuff. I found a store location and we set off to find it. Little did we know that we were being taken straight to Stamford Bridge (don't know what that is? I had no idea either. It is the stadium). So because my dad and Kenna are football fans (I am going to speak as British as I can from now on. It is going to happen and you all are going to deal with it. Football = Soccer for all of you that don't know) we went on the tour and wandered through the museum. It was actually pretty interesting, even for me, which was shocking (fun fact: Rice Eccles Stadium holds more than Stamford Bridge). After we took the tour and I spent quite a lot of money on Chelsea things for Derek, we ate at Nando's, and then we went back to the hotel and then out again. I bought a ton, found the Drop Dead store, wandered around Harrods until they were just about closed, and then went to eat at the same place we ate dinner at the last night we were there in October. We even got the same table. Then we went back to the hotel and packed all our millions of things up to get ready to get up and go straight to the train station. We got on the train and arrived in Plymouth. Tomorrow, I shall update you on all things that have gone down since then. I have given some updates, but not really any on orientation, the Hoe, the Barbican and whatnot. So, enjoy my pictures from London and look for something from me tomorrow. Also, if you were waiting for Paris pictures, they are up there with the post now. I love you guys and I miss you all SO MUCH.
