The last three days
Where have I been? I have been in my bed. Why haven't I updated anything? Because nothing has happened. Absolutely nothing. I have gone to the majority of my induction week activities (getting a folder, picking modules (which are classes for those of you that don't know), learning about what language courses are offered, meeting other exchange students), I have bought some food (SOME being the key word. The biggest meal I have had since my dad left me was a mini deep dish pizza that I heated up in the microwave for dinner last night. My flatmates go out and drink most nights. Last night they had a party in our kitchen. I didn't go, if you were wondering. Big groups of people make me extremely nervous. I can barely handle being in the same room talking to the 8 of them. I did watch a movie with most of them on Tuesday night though, so you can't get that mad at me. I got to talk to my warehouse kitties on Skype the past couple days. So that's exciting. I really miss my cats. I haven't seen a cat here, let alone get to pet one. My favorite spot in this city? My bed. If it weren't so rainy all the time, I would probably go walk around the Hoe (which is where the lighthouse is) and look at the ocean, but even when it is sunny, it is usually rainy. Yesterday probably would have been a good day to go up there, But I didn't. They had graduations going on up there anyway. It's starting to hit me just how alone I really am here (BUT YOU JUST SAID YOU HAVE 8 FLATMATES. Well yes, I do, but I don't know them). It is pretty scary. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think to myself "I want to go home" but I know I can't. So here I lay. In my bed. With my head at an unhealthy angle. I can't wash my clothes yet for some stupid reason that I have yet to be informed of. We have to pay to wash our clothes and there are only about 8 washers and 8 dryers for almost 500 students. AND I have to walk outside and around the building to get to the washers and dryers. Even though they are actually in my building. Annoying. Since these buildings are not done, I have to hear constant saws and drills from about 8AM until about 8PM. If you've talked to me on the phone, I'm pretty sure you've heard it. It is very loud. I turn 21 two months from yesterday. So for those of you that have been waiting *cough*Hannah*cough* the time is almost here. Although it makes absolutely no difference here. But the fact that I can drink right now here hasn't changed the fact that I really don't want to. Well. I have about 3 hours until I have to be anywhere, So I am going to go watch a movie. I hope you all have a very good day, even though all who are going to be reading this will be asleep for the next like 4 hours.you!! Here's a picture of my Spazzy Wazzy's tail, Fuzzy Wuzzy Wumpkin Eater, my dad, Cliff, and I..
