Things and Stuff.

So yesterday turned out to be a pretty crappy day. It started out good. I got a lot of stuff done, figured out a lot of things that I was confused about, got my classes are sorted. Then minutes before I was supposed to Skype my mom and the Grandmas, the internet went down FOR FIVE HOURS. It finally came back up when my mom got back home. So I don't really get to talk to them until Sunday. I didn't leave my room in those 5 hours because each time I asked reception when it would be back up, they assured me only a few minutes. It was not a few minutes. I would have had time to go get laundry detergent and wash my clothes. But I didn't because I was convinced that it was going to come back on. It didn't. Today I bought a lot of stuff that I needed, found the buildings my classes will be in (I only go to school three days a week, so I won't be hating life), and now I am back in my bed feeling a little sick. You that kinda cold that you feel when you are shivery and you can't get warm no matter what you do? That's how I feel right now. I guess I should hurry and get signed up for the doctor, eh? I just found out that in like four days, we are going to have a grocery store open up on the ground floor of our building. That's really exciting. I won't have to walk several blocks anymore. Yay for Tesco! My flatmates all really like to party. If you know me, you know that I, well, don't. I wake up every morning to counters full of dirty dishes, empty bottles, and half full glasses. There have been shirts just like soaking I guess in the sink that I normally use for like two days now. It's pretty gross. Soooooo That's one reason why I stay in my room... They are all really nice though. I am getting really tired of the construction going on here. I here drills and saws ALL DAY LONG. Then in the "quiet hours" I hear hammers, and the guys really aren't quiet. They are actually quite loud. Especially because they are right underneath my window. I am also getting really annoyed with the lifts, as well. Day and night I hear "Doors closing" or "Doors opening" and it is very very annoying and loud enough that it echoes down our hallway. Well. I am going to go watch a movie. I hope everyone is having a nice morning.
Love you!

Jes
