DO NOT EAT RAW EGGS.
Well hello there everyone. What have you been doing the past couple days? I have been sick. Again. A different kind of sick. An awful kinda sick. A food poisoning kinda sick. On Tuesday, I decided to make a cake. I had been craving cake for ever and ever and I finally had time to make one. So I did. And I did what I always do. I licked the rubber spatula clean after I had poured the batter into the pan. It was delicious. The cake baked, we ate some, even fed some to our RA. It wasn't until a couple hours later that I started to feel really really really really really sick. I didn't sleep. I had my top half laying in the bathroom, legs hanging out the bathroom door. I won't go into any more detail than that because you really don't need to know what happened. But when 6AM finally rolled around, I was up and running to TESCO to get some gatorade-like drinks (Powerade, Lucozade, Sprite, Apple Juice). So for the last three days now I have been drinking constantly (I think I am FINALLY rehydrated because I now have to pee every five minutes). I have only eaten a bunch of RITZ crackers, about 6 pieces of toast, and a couple bites of mashed potatoes (I am now super paranoid and they didn't taste right so they went straight to the bin) in the last 72 hours. Most of what I bought at the big store on Monday has been thrown away. So that's disappointing. Luckily I was the only one that got sick though. I would have felt terrible if I had made the entire flat sick...
Other than that horrific experience, I haven't been doing anything besides homework. And even though I seem to have been working for several days straight, I am no closer to being done than when I started. :( I leave for Nice a week from Sunday. I am going to have someone that I know (well, I kinda know her. I know her flatmate haha) there and we are going to go to Italy on our day off. The Oscars are this Sunday. You better believe that I am going to be staying up to watch them. They start at midnight and go until about 3, that's usually when I go to sleep anyway. The US has a different daylight savings time change than we do, so starting the 10th, home will only be 6 hours behind for like three weeks. So that'll be really really weird.
That's all I really had to say. This is a short one. I'm writing this to avoid going back to doing accounting. I think I actually understand accounting though. Maybe. I think it is actually starting to make sense. At least the budget part of it. I am starting to notice that I write either really long sentences or really short ones that should probably be combined... Oh well. I hope you're all doing well!
<3 Jess.
P.S. Tomorrow's March.. WHAT.
