DISNEYLAND PARIS

After leaving Alice and her family, I got overnight the train from Plymouth to London. I kind of hate train journeys. Instead of a 3 hour train, it was a 5 hour train. It didn't get into London until 5 AM. Way too early. I went to the airport and just hung out because what else do you do at 5 AM? I was waiting at the airport for hours. My flight ended up being delayed multiple times which kept me at the airport even longer. When going into France, they don't ask you any questions, unlike London when I got here, I was questioned about my Apple Watch because the guy couldn't decide if he should get one or not. At first I thought he wasn't going to let me in because I had one. I got to France and to my hotel in time to check in, freshen up a bit and then I went into Disneyland Park. I bought my ears and I wandered around. It was cold, getting close to parade and fireworks time, and the lines were really short.

First ride I went on was Phantom Manor, then I went on Pirates of the Caribbean, some storybook ride, and Small World. The rides are in French and I can speak French better than I can understand. they talk so fast. I didn't even watch the whole fireworks show I was so tired. I went to the hotel gift shop in search for conditioner for my hair. They don't supply it and my hair really needs conditioner - they don't have any. Goodbye moisture.

Day two I really had a hard time getting up. Even an hour difference was difficult. I started the day at Walt Disney Studios. This is where I decided I don't like standing in ride lines alone. Families try to edge you out. They surround you and it is super annoying. I also am not the biggest fan of how close people stand behind you over here. I went on the ratatouille ride, it was alright, not my favorite. I then went and stood in line for Crush's Coaster. It is a roller coaster that has a pretty short height restriction so I thought it would be pretty tame. Still hated it. At first it was alright, then it got much worse and no one was screaming so I didn't want to be the only one.

One thing I found really annoying was the fact that they have turnstiles everywhere. They're hard to get through when you have a coat and bag on. I got my second pair of ears on the second day. I did most of my shopping and bought way more than I should have. I had so little room to take things back, so it was a struggle to get it all in. At about 2 I went back to the room to take a nap because I was tired. I tried packing up all my stuff just to see if I could fit one more thing because I absolutely had to have the Jack Skellington goblet. It seems to be unique to Disneyland Paris because it is not available online in the US.

When I went back out, I went to get the goblet and had dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Dinner was expensive, I was sat really close to a couple and because we were right in front of an animatronic elephant, I was eating alone in the background of many videos. So awkward. I went back to the hotel to relax and get some sleep. I took photos of my hotel room because I had so little light and thought it was hilarious. And then I also had bunk beds.

The third and final day I got all ready and had to drop my bags at the bag drop. The line for the shuttle to the parks was so long that I ended up walking and it was a really nice morning to walk. The sky was blue and the leaves were very pretty. I then went to the castle and got a super pretty wand. My final purchase. It was SO COOL. I didn't know you could do that. You pick remade handles, then you get to pick the crystals you put into it, and then you get to watch the glass blower close up the end. It was awesome. I got to watch part of parade, I rode a few more rides, walked around aimlessly, then it was around that time that I decided I should head back to the hotel, get my stuff, and wait for the shuttle to the airport.

This was the time I learned that I hate CDG. There are hardly any signs. I couldn't find the gates. It took forever. I waited at the airport and then when I finally got up to get my boarding pass signed, they forced me to check my backpack. I was so angry. When I got on the plane, there were bigger bags on the plane. SO ANGRY. And then I had the guy next to me taking up a bunch of my seat with his elbow almost in my ribs, his coat in my seat, his leg under the seat in front of me. Awful. Hated every second of it.

I finally made it back and got on the train to meet Tom in central London. We met up with two of his friends and we had a few drinks before making our way back to his and getting pizza at midnight. We didn't get to go to sleep until like 2 AM and then I still woke up at 7:30. We did not get ready very quickly and didn't eat until 1, I had a full English, it was alright, I am just not a fan. Full English is just meh for me, I can't do beans that early in the morning and English sausage and bacon is just not y favorite. Cereal all the way. After that we had grab all the stuff and see off Tom's friend at Victoria and I had to grab a train to get to Lucy!

It's been a tiring few days, but I am ready to make the most of my last few days here!
